Last night (Sat 21 Apr 12) when we came home, we found huge puddles of water in the house. We thought our neighbour threw water under our door. Then we noticed Chester was drooling excessively. We thought nothing of it and mopped the floor.
Earlier that morning (Sat 21 Apr 12) at 10:00am Rentokil sprayed our house with tick killer called DEMAND 2.5 CS. Chester was staying at Grandma's in the morning (as advised by Rentokil). We mopped the floor thoroughly at 5:00pm. Mopped the floor (several rounds) and let it dry before fetching Chester home from Grandma's place.
This morning (Sun 22 Apr 12) we felt uneasy. I googled about canine poisoning - one symptom was excessively drooling. Panic swept in. Called ARVC and was advised to bring Chester down immediately. Doctor examine and Chester was given 30ml of charcoal to flush. Chester is warded at ARVC (Balestier) for observation.
His mummy very sad because tomorrow morning (Mon 23 Apr 12) leaving for Shanghai for work. Can't spend the night at home with her Chester Dar Dar Sweetheart. We've never placed Chester in a cage / small confined area ever since that first day he came into our home. Mummy knew she was going to miss Chester, so she put the nicest leather collar on leash, complete with little swarovski-like studs (can't see from pic). And Chester knew he was loved. Very very much
Poor Chester was whining away earlier - he is such a pampered puppy. And we love him very much.
